Job Description Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Chesapeake, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/17/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel - Job Summary - Day shift: 4x10-hour (07:00 AM – 05:00 PM). - The area offers outdoor activities, hiking trails, and over 20 waterways. - Chesapeake will not consider ANY license or background hits. - Please ensure your traveler does not have any prior license or background hits. - Shift: 4x10 hours. - Shifts may vary between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM as needed. - Worked hours may extend beyond scheduled time. - 40 hours per week. - Weekdays only. - No weekends. - No on-call requirements. - Certifications required: BLS and ACLS via American Heart Association. - Must be EPIC proficient – NO EXCEPTIONS. - Candidate should have pre- and post-recovery experience with minimally invasive cardiac procedures. - Procedures include coronary angioplasty, stents, IABP, Impella, electrophysiology studies, EP device implants, and related medications/drips. - RN must have critical care exposure with cardiac patients. - Minimum 2 years nursing experience required. - Experience required in one of the following areas: - Critical Care - Emergency Services - Cardiac Cath Lab - Pre-Post Care Unit - Cardiac Rehab (preferred) - Compact or Virginia (VA) license in hand – no exceptions.
