Job Description:

currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Nurse Extern to
join our Cardiac Telemetry Unit on a part-time basis. This position
is ideal for nursing students who are eager to gain hands-on
experience and enhance their skills under the guidance of
experienced nursing staff. You will be part of a dedicated team at
one of our state-of-the-art hospitals and play a crucial role in
monitoring and caring for patients with cardiac conditions. This
role provides an excellent opportunity to advance your
understanding of cardiac care, patient management, and telemetry
technology in a real-world healthcare setting. Assist in the
monitoring of patients and the management of telemetry equipment.
Support registered nurses and other healthcare professionals in
delivering high-quality care tailored to patient-specific needs.
Administer patient care under supervision, including but not
limited to, taking vital signs, assisting with procedures, and
documentation. Participate in educational workshops and training
sessions to enhance competency and professional skills. Communicate
effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to
ensure a cohesive care environment. Strong observational skills and
attention to detail. Ability to follow complex instructions and
procedural protocols. Effective communication and interpersonal
skills. Basic understanding of cardiac care and telemetry
monitoring. Commitment to delivering high-quality care and
maintaining patient confidentiality. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Basic Life Support
(BLS) Certification, required by start date. Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification, preferred but not
required.
