The essential function of this position is to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance to ensure the reliability of our AgriBusiness assets. We are looking for experience candidates, however if you are willing to invest in training via an electrical apprenticeship program for enthusiastic candidates wiling to learn.Principal and Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesInstalls, repairs and maintains machinery by utilizing both electrical and mechanical skills and knowledgeProperly perform electrical and mechanical preventative maintenance plans to ensure the reliability of assetsInstall and diagnose basic electric circuits and PLC controlled equipmentServicing and maintaining equipment including motors, conveyor systems, power transmission systems, and other production-related equipmentCommunicating with the production team and maintaining a clean and safe work areaCompleting and submitting maintenance reports and preventive maintenance logsMinimum EducationHigh School or equivalentAbility to work in confined spaces, at various heights, and in prevailing weather conditionsMust have a current valid state driver's licenseExperience RequirementsElectrical or mechanical education or training is preferredGood knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenanceExperience welding, Mig and StickExperience with power transmission systems, pumping systems, conveyors, pneumatics and hydraulicsExcellent troubleshooting skillsBasic computer skillsGood communication skillsGood time management skillsEnvironmental Factors and Physical RequirementsPosition is active. Able to move freely throughout the AgriBusiness facilities to include climbing verticalladders (0 - 150'), carrying tools and equipment (0
50 pounds), exposure to extreme temperatures (0 - 100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity, (0 - 100%), noise (50db to 100db) and chemicals (MSDS sheets available). Must be able to wear protective equipment to include self-contained breathing apparatus.
