An international agricultural products and services company, we handle agricultural commodities and have a diverse portfolio of products and businesses.SummaryPerdue AgriBusiness has an immediate opening for a Lead Industrial Electricianwithin its North Carolina, Northeast Grain Elevator Operations. .This position is responsible for maintaining production assets throughout multiple locations within this region ensuring the assets are dependable and reliable upon demandPerdue AgriBusiness offers competitive wages and benefit packages to full-time, regular positions.Principal and Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform routine preventative maintenance to trouble shoot and repair electrical circuitsDesign and document basic electric circuits and specify partsProper and timely communications of projects and work progressRespond to emergency breakdowns and equipment workPerform all work in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations and Company policiesMinimum EducationHigh School or equivalent.Electrical Apprenticeship orAdvanced Technical Electrical training preferredExperience RequirementsJourneyman Electrical LicenseReading, writing, math and analytical skillsGeneral knowledge of computer, operation and network systemsBasics of working around and using High Voltage equipment (600V)Basics of microprocessor-based equipment (loop controllers, VFD, etc.)Basic understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers and ability to troubleshootValid state driver's licenseSatisfactory DOT drug test and physicalEnvironmental Factors and Physical RequirementsAble to move freely throughout the AgriBusiness facilitiesClimb vertical heights (0-150")Climbing vertical ladders, carrying tools and equipment (0-50 pounds)Exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100 Degrees F)Humidity (0-100%)Noise (50db to 100db)Chemicals (SDS sheets available)Must be able to wear protective equipment to include self-contained breathing apparatusRequired to travel to remote AgriBusiness facilitiesPerdue Farms, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
