We are now seeking a Secret cleared, Cloud Cybersecurity Analyst
(CSA) to join our team in Suffolk, Virginia. The Cloud CSA will
provide technical analysis for cybersecurity support and
integration efforts.
Responsibilities:
Analyze cloud cyber security requirements, technologies, risks, or
issues.
Participate in design of solutions, defenses, or mitigation
approaches.
Research, document, and apply cyber best practices, controls,
policies, procedures, and standards.
Apply cyber or information privacy approaches to systems, networks,
services, devices, tools, communications, policies, or business
processes.
Provide expertise in CONMON, vulnerability analyses, risk
assessments, security controls analyses, remediation/mitigation
techniques.
Analyze data and systems architecture, create designs, and
implement information systems solutions.
Assist project team in meeting program objectives timely and
effectively.
Process documentation for technical accuracy and evaluates
adherence to DoD/Navy cybersecurity requirements.
Interpret and apply polices to modern technologies for both
enterprise and tactical platforms.
Interpret and understand DoD Cloud architectures/technologies,
DevSecOps Fundamentals (e.g., DoD Enterprise Strategy, container
hardening) 5G, Mobile devices and other modern technologies in use
by DoD/Navy.
Develop correspondence, reports, and other process documents in
support of the AO mission.
Assist in projects and coordinate project activities as assigned in
support of the Navy AO mission.
Qualifications:
Minimum two (2) years' experience in IT with a focus in
Cybersecurity.
Active Secret security clearance
Full understanding of Navy RMF and ability to coordinate and
support RMF projects from beginning to end - until ATO is
approved.
Knowledge and understanding of DoD Cloud architectures/technologies
DevSecOps, Navy RMF/A&A, enterprise architectures, LAN/WAN
protocols and technologies, and other relevant technologies in use
with modern enterprises.
Experience and understanding of DoD cybersecurity and policies,
instructions and NIST publications.
Understanding of system and software SDLCs, and unique DoD domains
such as Cross-domain solutions, PPSM.
Excellent use of MS office tools and related services.
Possess one of the following from the DoD 8570 IAT Level II/CSWF
Designation code 611 Intermediate/Journeyman:
Bachelor's degree from accredited University or CNSSI 4012-4016
Certificate or NDU CISO certificate-Chief Information Officer
(CIO)
Military training: NEC 2780 or 2779 or 2781 or 741A Information
System Security Manager or NEC 742A Network Security Vulnerability
Technician or NEC H08A Advanced Network Analyst
Certifications: CAP or CCNA or CompTIA Security+
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Certified: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
AWS - Certified Cloud Practitioner
CompTIA Cloud+
