Job Description:
The International Mission Board, a nonprofit religious
organization in Richmond, VA, is hiring for a Manager, Digital
Experience & Web ! Location : Richmond, VA Rate: Commensurate with
experience great benefits! The Manager, Digital Experience & Web
serves as the strategic digital lead for IMB’s web
presence—primarily imb.org—ensuring it functions as a
high-performing channel for awareness, engagement, and conversion.
This role sets the digital vision and roadmap, leads
cross-functional digital initiatives, and manages a team
responsible for delivering compelling, user-centered experiences
that inspire individuals to pray, give, and go. As a key leader
within Growth Marketing, this role translates organizational
priorities into scalable digital strategies, oversees the digital
product roadmap, and ensures IMB’s website and related digital
touchpoints directly support revenue growth, lead generation, and
long-term audience engagement. The Manager partners closely with
cross-functional teams to drive measurable digital performance and
continuous optimization. Key Responsibilities Lead the vision,
strategy, and execution of IMB’s digital experience across imb.org
and related web properties. Own and maintain the digital product
roadmap, prioritizing initiatives that align with revenue growth,
awareness expansion, engagement outcomes, and organizational goals.
Define requirements, scope initiatives, and guide implementation of
marketing-driven web projects including campaign landing pages,
donation flows, ecommerce enhancements, lead capture systems, and
storytelling pathways. Balance short-term campaign needs with
long-term digital platform health and scalability. Manage and
develop web and digital team members, providing direction,
feedback, and performance oversight. Establish clear priorities,
workflows, and quality standards for digital execution. Foster a
culture of excellence, speed, collaboration, and continuous
improvement. Coordinate work across internal stakeholders and
external development partners to ensure timely and high-quality
delivery. Ensure imb.org functions as a primary growth and
conversion engine for individual giving, prayer engagement, and
participation opportunities. Collaborate with UX/UI resources to
improve navigation, usability, and conversion paths—especially for
giving, volunteering, and ecommerce. Lead testing initiatives (A/B
testing, UX research, CRO experiments) to improve engagement and
revenue outcomes. Oversee ecommerce storefront performance as a
revenue channel in partnership with Shared Services and fulfillment
teams. Translate analytics into actionable insights that inform
roadmap prioritization and campaign optimization. Regularly report
on digital KPIs including: Traffic growth Conversion rates Revenue
attribution Engagement metrics Funnel performance Use data to
inform digital investment decisions and strategic planning. Serve
as the primary digital experience leader. Manage relationships with
external web vendors, development partners, and technical
resources. Educate internal stakeholders on digital best practices
and platform capabilities. Ensure digital initiatives align with
broader organizational and SBC priorities. Qualifications &
Experience Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer
Science, Communications, Digital Media, or related field preferred.
5–8 years of progressive experience in digital marketing, digital
product management, web management, or digital experience
leadership roles. Demonstrated experience leading digital strategy
and managing a web product roadmap. Proven experience with content
management systems (e.g., WordPress). Strong proficiency in Google
Analytics 4 and performance analysis tools. Experience leading
conversion rate optimization initiatives and UX testing programs.
Deep knowledge of SEO strategy, on-page optimization, and evolving
AI-driven search environments. Experience collaborating with UX/UI
designers to enhance site usability and conversion performance.
Experience supporting revenue, fundraising, or donor-focused
digital initiatives strongly preferred. Strong project management
skills with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and
deliver on deadlines. Demonstrated leadership ability with
experience supervising team members and coordinating
cross-functional efforts. Collaborative mindset with the ability to
