If so, we are looking for a Task Order Leadto manage our Service Joint Training Division (SJTD) Task Order supporting the Joint Staff J7. This position will be located in Suffolk, VA. This position supports and executes the mission of the joint force developer to meet present and future training requirements and to develop joint training capabilities for the Joint Training Enterprise (JTE). JS/J7 accomplishes this mission by supporting the Services and Combatant Commands in their preparation for, and global execution of joint and combined training. JS/J7 has the responsibility to enrich and improve the joint training environment for the JTE with the goal to improve the quality and quantity of joint training at existing training programs. Within the JS/J7, the SJTD manages and executes the Joint National Training Capability mission with a special focus on tactical and operational level joint training conducted by Service and USSOCOM training programs. Daily Responsibilities: Manage all Task Order activities, leading financial reviews with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of the Task Order. Participate in the negotiation of Task Order changes. Coordinate the preparation of business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of the Task Order. Identify/develop new business with the customer. Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules. Identify Task Order issues and obtain solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Direct the work of employees assigned to the Task Order from technical and administrative areas. Serve as the primary interface to senior government personnel. Serve as a key interface to Northrop Grumman program leadership, including facilitating reach back to other parts of Northrop Grumman possessing skills, technologies, or expertise beneficial to the Task Order. Some travel may be required, but is not expected to exceed 10%.Basic Qualifications: 1. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. 2. A minimum of 10 years of experience working at or with the Joint Staff J7 3. A currentDoD Secret clearance with an ability to be granted a TS / SCI clearance.4. Strong leadership and management skills including but not limited to: excellent people skills, sound judgment, ability to manage with minimal direction, flexibility, and ability to work well in a demanding environment. 5. Experience with Joint organizations, operations, and tier I and tier II training events at the COCOM or JTF HQ level. 6. Experience/knowledge in Government contracting. 7. Demonstrated supervisory skills of groups of 10 or more. 8. Strong technical writing, communication, and analytical skills. 9. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Customer intimacy with Joint Staff 2. Demonstrated experience with IDIQ vehicles 3. Working level familiarity with a variety of contract types (CPAF, CPFF, FFP, FFIP) 4.Experience in managing multiple subcontracts. 5.Experience in managing geographically separated teams. 6.
