Are you an experienced Operations Research Systems Analyst (ORSA)? Then we have an opportunity for you to support Joint Tests (JTs) and Quick Reaction Tests (QRTs)The analyst will aid in developing tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP), Concepts of Operations, and other documents used DoD-wide to solve challenging warfighter problems, with the objective to enhance system interoperability, suitability, survivability, lethality (as applicable), and effectivenessAs an ORSA you will participate with a team of diverse individuals to:--- Provide analytical support services to the Team Lead related to the aspects of test planning, test article development, test conduct, data collection, data analysis and reporting--- Use advanced techniques to clean, normalize and analyze data used in mission-critical tests--- Receive a robust benefits package that includes Employee Stock Ownership Plan !--- Enjoy flexibility managing your work hours and personal needs with a single accrual leave planA week in the life of anORSA:--- Support the test team in test design, establish of measures of performance and evaluation, and develop detailed test requirements to ensure accurate data collection and analysis.--- Perform data collection and rigorous analysis, integrating automation where possible--- Offer risk reduction strategies, risk mitigation plans, and fully document existing processes, project enhancements, and test results--- Generate and execute a test plan to deliver Test Products--- Develop reports and support project reviews with Service, interagency, and Combatant Command organizations as necessary #cjpost Job Requirements--- Top Secret security clearance--- A Bachelor's degree in operations research or STEM field--- A minimum of 3 years of ORSA or similar analysis experience--- Knowledge and experience in test planning and design, execution, and evaluation--- Experience in Design of Experiments (DoE) and data collection--- Knowledge of parametric and non-parametric statistics, data reduction, data decomposition, data analysis techniques, development of measures of performance and evaluation, confidence intervals, computer analysis tools, and survey test and evaluation methods--- Demonstrated experience in conducting test design and planning, data collection, and data analysis functions, knowledge of test and evaluation processes and activitiesEmphasis on discrete event analysis, data collection, analysis of results and translating abstract elements into useful operational information--- Demonstrated experience with software tools which may include SQL databases, Microsoft Excel, Python, or JMP statistical software for the collecting, archiving, retrieving, and analyzing of test data--- Ability to convey information in a clear and concise manner via verbal presentations, producing written products, or otherwise informing senior stakeholders at the flag/general officer or senior executive level Founded in 1975, AMERICAN SYSTEMS is one of the largest employee-owned companies in the United StatesWe are a government services contractor focused on delivering Strategic Solutions to complex national priority programs with 100+ locations worldwideThrough our focus on quality, strong cultural beliefs and innovation we deliver excellence every dayCompany Awards:--- Forbes National Best Midsize Companies--- Energage National Best Workplaces--- Washington Post Best Workplaces Veteran Hiring Awards:--- U.SDepartment of Labor Hire Vets Medallion--- BEST FOR VETS by Military Times--- TOP 10 MILITARY FRIENDLY COMPANY by MilitaryFriendly.com EOE Minorities/Women/Disabled/Veterans/Gender Identity/Sexual Orientation
