The Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist identifies and
implements process improvement opportunities. Responsible to
identify and improve the outcomes of manufacturing and operational
processes to improve efficiencies, reduce cost and increase
customer satisfaction at a particular location. Provides advisement
and recommendations to key management personnel to influence change
and implement continuous process improvement programs. Salary Range
$72,000 - $106,150 Core Responsibilities
Evaluates plant efficiencies and drives cost savings by identifying
and facilitating process improvement projects.
Uses high level of judgement to make decisions and handle complex
tasks or problems within all areas of the business. Has the ability
to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions
to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of
set parameters and can construct and provide recommendations. Uses
multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function
to help arrive at a decision.
Conducts root cause analysis to determine metrics and troubleshoot
manufacturing/business and operational issues utilizing advanced
techniques, such as Ishikawa diagrams, A3 Problem Solving Method,
or 3 legged, 5 why.
Develops and facilitates training/workshops to drive cultural
change and improve core company metrics as defined by
leadership.
Completes advanced data collection and analysis for process and
value stream mapping.
Develops and conducts compliance audits, program evaluations, and
reviews to drive results with the fortitude to ensure change is
sustainable.
Lead cost reduction goals monthly and annually.
Partners with Operations and Engineering teams to monitor and
evaluate effectiveness of new equipment installations.

perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or
University in Engineering, Science or related field and 5 years of
related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of
education and experience, required.
Demonstrated understanding of Advanced Continuous Improvement and
lean manufacturing principles.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced level
knowledge of Excel and developing Power Point training decks
Solid analytical skills.
Familiar with Microsoft Power Bi, Forms, and Power Automate
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational
planning, teamwork, analytical reasoning, and adaptability.
Demonstrated planning, organization, and execution skills.
Demonstrated ability in developing high performing hourly teams and
coaching salary personnel in mentoring and developing high
performing work teams.
Strong interpersonal and technical skills.
Demonstrated ability to transfer CI knowledge to less experienced
CI Specialists as well as plant operations personnel, both hourly
and salary
Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic
environment.
Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while
building strong working relationships and a positive work
environment.

The majority of the time is spent in an office setting outside of
the production plant. The plant environment will include wet or
humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat
(non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts,

Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Frequently
required to sit; stand; walk; reach with hands and arms.Specific
