Job Description:

Aerotek is looking for experienced Machinists to perform repair work in the local Hampton Roads Shipyards on various Naval vessels. Description:

• Must have prior mechanical or electrical experience working on marine vessels.
• Responsible for the overhaul and repairing of pumps, motors, valves and other auxiliary equipment.
• Open, inspect, and repair work on components of marine sea water, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Former Machinist Mate, Engineman, Outside machinists, and Damage Controlman.
• Prior Navy experience preferred, but not required. Pay: Pay rates vary based on qualifications and years of experience. Location: Work is available through the naval shipyards/locations in Hampton Roads such as: Little Creek, NOB, Norfolk Naval Shipyard, etc. About Aerotek: We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
