Job Description:
Sterling Medical is looking for RN's to provide General
Medicine, General Surgery and Orthopedic Surgery services at the
Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, VA.. Must have a current
unrestricted license to practice nursing and a current BLS.General
Medicine Requirements: Must possess a minimum of one year of
experience as an RN working in an inpatient medical/surgical
setting within the last two years.Orthopedic Surgery Requirements:
Must possess a minimum of one year of experience within the last
two years as an RN working in a surgical nursing unit, same day
surgery unit or in an emergency room setting. General Surgery
Requirements: Must possess a minimum of one year of experience
within the last two years as an RN working in a surgical unit--or
in an emergency room setting.Job Requirements:* Provide nursing
care to the patient undergoing surgical procedures* Preparing
patients for surgery and caring for outpatients after surgery*
Administer nursing care to patients* Circulate and work with
conscious sedation* Present an opportunity to join an elite team of

Assist Operating Room (OR) unit* Focus energy on a care-giving
