Sr Systems Administrator II

Provide System Administration, network, software and mission
support to an integrated array of systems within DCGS. Required to
interface with customers and co-contractors on a daily basis to
troubleshoot and correct system problems. Debug HW/SW/SYSTEM
problems and communicate corrective actions to various locations
and site personnel. Analyze system performance and make
recommendations on system improvements. Install and checkout system
upgrades. Responsibilities include the maintenance of the mission
systems to include managing, monitoring multiple Oracle clustered
server systems to include all associated resources. Which also
includes monitoring LDAP replication, performing DNS updates and
monitoring DNS replication. Perform security certificate
maintenance actions and assist site security personnel as needed
for system audit management. Candidate will provide operational and
maintenance support of the system and installation of COTS/GOTS
software in support of Demonstration Testing (DT) activities.
Location of work is Langley AFB, VA (DGS-X)
-6+ years of applicable GEOINT/IMINT experience
-Experience supporting Demonstration Testing (DT) activities
- Solaris System Administration for SUN Servers and Workstations,
UNIX, LINUX, shell scripting, Oracle or Web-logic.
-Operational mission management and crew supervision experience
-Operational testing and validation experience
-Willing to work 40 hour work week, with shift and weekend work
required as necessary to meet program objectives
-Existing/active TS/SCI Clearance
. Current Security+/Security+ CE certification.
Familiarity with scripting languages.
Familiarity with DNS and LDAP application protocolAbility to
develop and maintain maintenance and operation procedures.Possess
working level knowledge of AF DCGS intelligence IT systems. Working
knowledge of Crew Communication systems, account creation, and
logistics support processes
WORK SCHEDULE:40 hour work week, with shift and weekend work
required as necessary to meet program objectives.
EDUCATION: Related University Degree or equivalent experience and
minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience.This position
