Job Description:

As an Instacart Shopper, you play a critical role in our mission to offer timely grocery delivery and a superior customer experience. You will be responsible for managing orders, hand-picking items from a variety of retail partners, ensuring order accuracy, and handling delivery with care and efficiency. This role requires a focus on great service, an eye for quality, a commitment to the customers’ specifications, and a consistently positive attitude. As the face of Instacart, you will ensure a smooth, pleasant, and compliant shopping experience while adhering to designated timelines. Carefully select items as per customer orders from various retail locations. Adhere to shopping lists and preferences, paying close attention to product quality and expiry dates. Manage multiple orders simultaneously without compromising on service quality. Communicate effectively with customers about substitutions and potential delays. Maintain a timely manner of delivery, ensuring all orders are accurate and handled with care. Follow all health safety guidelines especially pertinent to current public health situations. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle physical requirements of the job including lifting moderate weights. Proficiency in using a smartphone and apps. Excellent customer service and communication skills. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (if opting for delivery tasks).
