the Northrop Grumman team. Northrop Grumman Technical Services is
seeking a Computer Systems Administrator (SA) to join our Suffolk,
VA STRAP team supporting US Air Forces Central (AFCENT) customers.
The selected individual will be experienced in the configuration,
installation, documentation, and optimization of network devices
and computer workstations, will implement system software changes,
operating system releases and maintain the operational status of
the installed SIPRNET system. This is a Service Contract Act (SCA)
position. Roles and Responsibilities: Analyze system operations to
identify inefficiencies and takes action to resolve problems and
ensure optimal performance and consistency.
Provide input to the Contingency Plan procedures for system
disaster recovery. Install and configure workstation or network
operating systems, and application software.
Configure a wide variety of devices requiring diverse interfaces
and device drivers in multiple operating system environments using
a wide variety of hardware platforms.
Review and implement local policies regarding system access,
network rights, and physical access to systems and equipment.
Implement DoD policy relating to systems storage requirements.
Perform security management in accordance with DoD regulations and

Qualifications: High School Diploma and a minimum of 3+ years
ofrelated work experience.
Must have current CompTIA Security+ certification Experience witha
network infrastructure, comprised primarily of Cisco
Experience with installing, testing, maintaining, upgrading and
patching computer operating systems software and hardware to comply
with IA requirements.
Ability to support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot hardware and
software IA problems.
Experience and familiarity with conducting Security Test and
Evaluation of the network.
Ability to obtain a favorably adjudicated CBP Background
Current/active Secret security clearance (or active within the past
2 years). Preferred Qualifications: Self-starter, attention to
detail, and great communication skills with others.
A team player.
Experience with the Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI)
process a plus
Experience with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security
Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) implementation and DISA
network accreditation a plus.
Experience with ACAS/Nessus scanner implementation and process is a
Familiarity with the DoD Host Based Security Suite (HBSS) a
Familiarity with syslogs and syslog server implementation and
analysis a plus
