Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for administration of Windows servers. You will have responsibility for system vulnerability remediation in the form of operating system patching and updating layered products. You will be responsible for managing Windows Server roles and services. You will be expected to be able to troubleshoot system and product issues, propose and coordinate resolution of identified problem, and manage restoration of system usability. You will work on a team of seasoned administrators who will provide guidance during your familiarization period, and will serve as resources to you in performance of your daily responsibilities. The position requires extensive use of person engagement skills and the ability to think and react quickly to support requirements and problems. The applicant will provide direct support to Lockheed Martin and external senior leadership.The successful candidate will be required to routinely handle equipment weighing 20 pounds or less. During support of customer events, the successful candidate will be required to stand for periods of time, up to four hours. During setup for customer events stooping to connect cables and configure peripherals will be required.Basic Qualifications:Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance.Experience managing current Microsoft server operating systems.Experience with server operating system upgrades (example: Windows Server 2008 R2 to Windows Server 2012). Experience managing Windows servers in a virtual environment.Experience managing Microsoft Group Policy for implementation of security requirements.Strong understanding of IPv4 networking.Experience managing Active Directory user accounts.Experience with commercial vulnerability remediation products.Experience with commercial endpoint protection products.Ability to participate in rotating on-call responsibility.Comfortable working in an environment where requirements and priorities change frequently.Proven customer-centric perspective.Strong team player.Demonstrated self-motivator.The Center for Innovation, being a corporate customer engagement facility, hosts events for Lockheed Martin business areas and their external customers. This position will be required to participate in support of customer events. Event support can be characterized as follows:Participating in planning meetings to understand IT requirements.Coordinating with IT peers for creation of virtual servers required to support the event, and virtual desktops to be used by event participants.Coordinating with Center for Innovation event host and external contacts for testing of infrastructure configuration, creation of user accounts, integration of collaboration tools (Exchange, Lync, SharePoint, file shares).Set up, configuration, and tear down of computer equipment based on requirements that are unique to each event.The successful candidate will be assigned to serve as the IT point of contact for events.The successful candidate will be required to provide support in the event venue for the duration of the event to address user needs and respond to unanticipated technical challenges.Other duties as assigned.Desired Skills:Experience creating and managing Windows servers in VMWare virtualization product.Experience with user productivity products such as SharePoint, Exchange, Skype.Experience with managing Windows file server and share permissions.Experience with Windows Server 2016.Experience with SCCM.Experience implementing STIGs in local security policy and in Active Directory Group Policy Object.Experience managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
