Type of Travel: Local * * * The Opportunity The Security Specialist
will serve as the lead SAP Security expert supporting the Navy
Maritime Maintenance Enterprise Solution (NMMES) program.This
individual will have the opportunity to: Design, implement, and
maintain secure SAP environments that protect mission-critical Navy
maintenance and logistics systems. Drive compliance with DoD
cybersecurity standards while enabling efficient user access and
operational effectiveness. Partner with functional, Basis, and
infrastructure teams to ensure secure and scalable SAP solutions.
Support enterprise modernization efforts, including cloud-based SAP
environments and evolving security frameworks. Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain SAP roles, profiles, and authorizations
across SAP landscapes (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, etc.). Administer user
access, including provisioning, deprovisioning, and role
assignments in accordance with least privilege principles. Perform
Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis and remediation using tools
such as GRC Access Control (or equivalent). Support SAP security
audits, compliance reviews, and Authority to Operate (ATO)
activities. Implement and maintain security controls aligned with
DoD RMF and STIG requirements. Monitor and respond to security
incidents, vulnerabilities, and access-related issues. Collaborate
with Basis and infrastructure teams to secure SAP systems in AWS or
hybrid cloud environments. Develop and maintain security
documentation, policies, and standard operating procedures. Support
integration security across SAP modules and external interfaces.
Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) and 6 years of
experience in SAP Security administration. Hands-on experience with
SAP role design, user provisioning, and authorization concepts.
Experience performing Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis and
remediation. Familiarity with SAP GRC (Access Control) or similar
security/compliance tools. Knowledge of SAP architecture and
integration points across modules. Experience with DoD
cybersecurity frameworks (RMF, STIG compliance). Active Secret
clearance (or ability to obtain). Desired: Experience supporting
SAP S/4HANA environments. Familiarity with SAP security in AWS or
cloud-hosted environments. Experience with SAP Fiori security and
identity/access management (IAM) integrations. Knowledge of audit
processes and compliance frameworks (NIST 800-53, etc.). Experience
working in Agile or DevSecOps environments. - What You Can Expect:

factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited
to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor
categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience,
specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

one location, the range shown is the national average for the
position. The proposed salary range for this position is:
