Field Service Technician plays a critical role in ensuring seamless
connectivity and optimal performance of video, internet, and
customer-facing technologies at serviced properties and commercial
offices. This position requires a proactive, customer-focused
individual who delivers reliable on-site support, resolves
technical issues efficiently, and maintains accurate records. The
technician contributes to customer satisfaction by providing
timely, professional service while adapting to evolving
technologies and operational demands. Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve onsite issues related to video, internet,
and customer connectivity. Install and activate routers, TVs, and
internet services using plug-and-play methods. Maintain accurate
service records by updating tickets and managing appointment
schedules. Stay current with both existing and emerging
technologies through continuous learning. Communicate service
updates and issues to field teams and management promptly.
Qualifications: Proven customer service skills with a hands-on,
solution-oriented mindset. Ability to meet scheduled appointment
windows and manage time effectively. Experience with routers (Calix
experience is a plus) and foundational networking knowledge.
Comfortable performing light installations and diagnosing basic
technical problems.
