Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Virginia Beach, VA,
providing home health services where you will help patients recover
from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life

more details. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or
Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
approved by the APTA. Active Virginia Physical Therapy license
required to start assignment. Current BLS/CPR certification from
AHA or ARC required. Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and
access to a dependable vehicle for travel within the service area.
Experience providing home health physical therapy or equivalent
clinical experience in outpatient, skilled nursing, or community
settings preferred. Ability to complete evaluations, develop plans
of care, and document per CMS and agency standards within required
timeframes. Willingness to participate in weekend rotation and be
available on observed holidays as needed. May require supervision
of PTAs and home health aides as permitted by state regulation and
agency policy. Assignment Details Facility type: Home Health.
Status: Full time travel position. Schedule requirements: Requires
schedule flexibility, including participation in a weekend rotation
and potential availability on observed holidays. Clinical duties:
Evaluate functional status, develop and implement PT plan of care,
provide skilled interventions, complete progress notes per agency
policy, and prepare discharge summaries at least every 60 days.
Coverage: Visits may occur across the agency service area and to
nearby agency locations as needed; candidate must be able to travel
within the service area. Location Highlights Virginia Beach offers

located in the city and provide waterfront recreation and dining

historic sites for outdoor activities. The Virginia Aquarium &
Marine Science Center is in the area and features exhibits, boat
tours, and education programs about the coastal ecosystem.
Commuting to Norfolk or Chesapeake is feasible, with I-264 and I-64
providing direct highway access and regional transit options for
urban amenities, museums, and performing arts venues. The locale
fits an active, coastal lifestyle with beaches, state parks,
boating opportunities on the Chesapeake Bay, and a mix of suburban
