Department of Biology at Norfolk State University is seeking
adjunct professors to teach the following courses: BIO 110L/ BIO
111L Responsibilities: Teach General Biology laboratory I (BIO
110L) and General Biology Laboratory II (BIO 111L) to biology
majors. The course is an introductory level course designed to
support the BIO 110/BIO 111 lecture curriculum and provide biology
majors with an understanding of introductory biology concepts.
Candidates for this posting must have a M.S. or Ph.D. in Biology.
BIO 163/ BIO 163L Responsibilities: Teach Microbiology for Health
Science lecture (BIO 163) and laboratory (BIO 163L0 to pre-nursing
and non-majors. The course focuses on basic microbiology techniques
and characterization of microorganisms. Candidates for this
position must have a M.S. or Ph.D. in Biology. BIO 165/165 L and
BIO 166/165L Responsibilities: Teach Human Anatomy and Physiology
lecture and laboratories to health science majors. The course
emphasizes hands on experience with animal tissues. Candidates for
this position must have a M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Biology and
experience teach anatomy and physiology laboratories. Norfolk State
University is particularly interested in candidates who have

Minimum Qualifications Candidates for BIO 110l/BIO 110L - Must have
a M.S. or Ph.D. in Biology. Candidates for BIO 163/163L - Must have
a M.S. or Ph.D. in Biology Candidates for BIO 165/165L and BIO
166/166L - Must have a M.S. or Ph.D. in Biology and experience
teaching anatomy and physiology laboratories. Additional
