MRI Tech Location: Chesapeake, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,466 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: MRI Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM Experience: 2 years preferred License: Virginia or compact license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT Must-Have: - GE experience - Ability to rotate on call - Ability to rotate on weekends Description: This position is for an MRI Tech in a Radiology/Cardiology department. The role requires 5 days of 8-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of MRI experience. BLS and ARRT certifications are required. GE experience is essential for this position. The selected candidate will rotate on call and weekends. Travel experience is preferred. Candidates must have no prior license or background issues. Fit testing will be required, and the facility cannot accommodate certain testing requirements. This role involves working with adults, adolescents, and geriatrics. There are two MRI rooms within the department. The daily patient ratio and census will vary. All applicants must be aware that there is a preference for candidates with prior experience in an acute care setting. Modules will be required to be completed prior to starting. The facility offers a supportive environment for outdoor activities and exploration. All duties and assignments will adhere to strict compliance guidelines.
