Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Unit Location: Richmond, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,619 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 17:00 Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Proficient in scrubbing cardiac cases requiring bypass and related procedures in the mediastinum. Ability to scrub thoracic surgery cases, including daVinci assisted procedures. Experience with open thoracotomy and VATS procedures. Knowledge of initiating ECMO and performing pericardial window procedures. Ability to take call during unit hours of operation. Willingness to participate in weekend call rotation when assigned. Description: Seeking a registered nurse for a cardiovascular surgery setting. The role involves scrubbing a variety of cardiac cases from CABG to valve replacements. Experience in repairing aortic dissections and TAVRs is required. Candidates must be familiar with thoracic surgery procedures, including daVinci assisted lobectomies and wedge resections. Experience in mediastinal lymph node biopsies and ECMO is preferred. Strong documentation skills are essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment is required.
