Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Richmond, VA Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $1,632 to $1,826 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title TRAVEL - RN CSU (Cardiac Stepdown Unit) City/State: Richmond, Virginia Shift: Nights, 19:00-07:00 Contract Length: 12.00-3,91 Start Date: 02/09/2026 Job Description: The role is for a registered nurse in the Cardiac Stepdown Unit, responsible for providing care to patients with a variety of cardiac conditions, utilizing equipment such as central lines, foley, chest tubes, and telemetry, and documenting in Meditech. Responsibilities: Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms. Administer medications, including narcotics and cardiac drips such as Cardizem and amiodarone. Perform assessments and document patient information every 4 hours. Float between Telemetry and Med Surg as required. Requirements: BLS and ACLS certifications required. Must be able to read cardiac monitors and administer narcotics. Preferred candidates will have stepdown experience and cardiac knowledge.
