neurology/stroke patients in the past Description: This position is
for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical/Telemetry.
The role involves caring for patients with a variety of medical and
surgical conditions. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring
telemetry and managing medications. Patient ratios are 1:7, and the
nurse will need to be comfortable with this workload. Candidates
must have experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and
management. Previous charge experience is preferred, as well as
familiarity with rapid response and code teams. The position
requires the ability to handle colostomy, ileostomy management, and
feeding tube care. Pre and post-operative care for neurology and
stroke patients is necessary. The unit supports an
interdisciplinary team, including physical therapy and respiratory
services. Candidates must provide all requested time off
information with their application. Fit testing for specific
requirements will be considered in the hiring process. A thorough
understanding of isolation precautions and wound care management is
