Registered Nurse (RN) | Endoscopy Location: Richmond, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,026 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Endoscopy RN in Richmond, Virginia, 23229! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: Relevant certifications required Must-Have: Ability to perform advanced procedures such as ERCP and EUS Credentials and experience consistent with scope of practice Description: The unit consists of 2 endoscopy suites. Patient ratios are 1:1 for circulators, up to 2 patients in PACU, and 1:1 in preoperative questioning, which may rise to 1:3 if patients are awaiting procedures. Unit staffing includes a circulator and a technician in the room, along with a designated scope washer for each shift. The following equipment is utilized: Olympus scopes, OER elite washer, and ION robot. Documentation is handled through Meditech Expanse and Provation. Scheduling requirements range from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, based on assignments. Floating to other facilities may be necessary as required. The unit requires advanced skills in performing procedures such as ERCP, EUS, robotic bronchoscopy, and EBUS. Common procedures conducted in this unit include colonoscopy, EGD, Pill Cam, Bravos, ERCP, EUS, EBUS, ION, and bronchoscopy. Dress code consists of hospital-issued scrubs. Unit-specific policies and guidelines will be provided for review. Daily huddles are conducted prior to the start of each shift.
