Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Night Shift Supervisor to lead our team at one of our inpatient rehabilitation hospitals. This role is pivotal in maintaining the exceptional standards of care and operational effectiveness during night shifts. The supervisor will be instrumental in overseeing nursing staff and ensuring compliance with hospital policies, quality standards, and patient satisfaction. This position requires a proactive approach, excellent leadership skills, and a dedication to compassionate, high-quality healthcare. Oversee and coordinate the night shift healthcare team to ensure adherence to quality standards. Manage patient care and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital policies. Supervise night shift staff, scheduling, and all related administrative duties. Act swiftly and competently to emergency situations. Provide leadership, conflict resolution, and effective communication within the team. Enhance staff productivity and motivation through continuous training and feedback. Excellent leadership and managerial skills Strong understanding of healthcare procedures and regulations Proficiency in healthcare management systems and electronic health records Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) License Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred Certification in healthcare management or leadership is a plus
