Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Onancock, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,103 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - EPIC charting experience required - Specialty experience within the last year required Description: This position is for a 36-bed telemetry/surgical floor. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. BLS and a minimum of 2 years of experience are required. Candidates must have experience with colostomy care, feeding tube care, and hemodialysis management. The nurse will be responsible for managing patient care for adults and geriatric populations. Patient ratios are 6:1 for days and nights. The daily census ranges from 20 to 24 patients. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy and respiratory services. Candidates must be prepared to provide nursing care for patients with a variety of diagnoses. Familiarity with telemetry monitoring is essential. Floating may be requested based on the needs of the facility. Prior permanent employees must have been gone for at least six months. Requests for time off should be kept to a minimum, preferably no requests for a calendar week off during assignments.
