Doctor of Medicine | Obstetrics and Gynecology Location: Nags Head, NC Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Quick Facts: Specialty: Obstetrics and Gynecology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Nags Head, NC Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Reason For Coverage: Supplemental Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing Coverage Type: Clinical Call Shifts needed to be filled: Shifts needed to be filled: - Nov 4 (7a) - Nov 7 (7a) - Dec 4 (7a) - Dec 13 (7a) - Dec 16 (7a) - Dec 24 (7a) - Jan 10 (7a) - Jan 31 (7a) - Feb 8 (7a) - Feb 16 (7a) Shift Schedule: Mon, Tues, Wed & Fri; 830a-430p Call Schedule: Nights; TBD & Weekends; 7a-7a Call Ratio: Shared w/ 2 other providers Patient Volume: 16-20 (IP: 3-4) Support Staff: 4 APPs; 1 RN or Paramedic No. of Admissions: 1-2 (Nights: 2-3) Labor & Delivery: approx. 3-4 Required Procedures/Duties: - OB/GYN procedures if called to ER, C-sections, Vaginal deliveries. - In office procedures: LEEP, Colposcopy, Endometrial Biopsies Specialty Backup: 24-hour Pediatric Hospitalist, Anesthesiologist, onsite Radiologist Beds in the Dept: 26 (w/ 6 Psych Beds) No. of ORs: 3 EMR: Epic Other Info: - No ICU/Critical Care Duties; LT responds to codes. - New providers will need to come in the day before scheduled call for orientation. - Will accept a provider for call only dates. - 24-hr Lab availability Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: Active NC License BC NRP, BLS, ACLS (AHA)
