City/State Suffolk, VA Work Shift Third (Nights) Overview: Sentara BelleHarbour Emergency Room, located in Suffolk, Virginia, is hiring a full time RN (Registered Nurse) to join our Team. Up to a $20,000 Sign On Bonus to the qualified candidate successfully hired. The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing. The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas. ABOUT SENTARA BELLEHARBOUR We are a state-of-the-art outpatient medical center located in North Suffolk, Virginia. We are here to provide you and your family with convenient access to quality medical care and services. In our facility, we offer 24-hour emergency care, outpatient surgery, family medicine, specialty care, physical therapy, lab and imaging services. We have 22 beds and see approximately 80 - 100 patients per day. Hear what our staff say about BelleHarbour: Position Available - Full time, 36 hours per week - Night Shift 7pm - 7am Education - RN-Associate's Degree - RN-Bachelor's Degree - RN-Diploma - RN-Master's Degree Certification/Licensure - Virginia or Compact Multi-state RN (Registered Nurse) license in good standing. - ACLS & PALS or ENPC within one (1) year of hire - BLS within 90 days of hire Experience - Experienced RN - We are unable to consider new grad RNs.
