Facility A correctional facility is seeking a family medicine nurse
practitioner for locum tenens coverage. About the Facility Location
The facility is located in Capron, VA. About the Clinician's
Workday The assignment starts in early to mid-December and is for 3
or 6 months with the option to extend. Credentialing is expected to
take about two weeks. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.
to 4:30 p.m., or four 10-hour shifts. The facility is open to an MD
or an autonomous NP. There is no call required. Providers typically
see 1820 adult patients per day. Required certifications include a
Virginia license and DEA. Support staff consists of RNs and LPNs.
The EMR system is paper-based, with Sapphire used for
prescriptions. No additional notes on the ideal candidate were
