Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist - Discipline: Therapy - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours - Employment Type: Travel CCI is currently seeking an Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with a passion to work with Pediatric children in an outpatient ortho clinic in Suffolk, VA. - Travel Take Home: $2000 net (after tax take home) per week. - Local Travel Rates: $53-$55 per hour with 40 hours guaranteed, first-day health benefits. - First Day Health/Dental/Vision Benefits. - $1200 Con Ed Package - 40 - hours per week guaranteed Pediatric patient population 1-hour evals, 30 minutes follow-up. Job Summary: Adhering to principles consistent with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice, the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) helps diagnose and treat individuals who suffer from stutters, as well as vocal and cognitive-communication impairments. They also help those whose speech is affected by emotional issues, various learning disabilities and physical impairments, such as a cleft palate.
