Days (7a-7p) Hospital: Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Location:
Murfreesboro, TN Bonus: Up to $12,000 Student Loan Assistance
Available This is a fast-paced surgical unit with high patient
turnover, making it an exciting environment to build and keep
advanced clinical skills. Often considered the closest thing to a
step-down unit in the med-surg world, our team manages a variety of
complex post-operative needs, including chest tubes, peritoneal
dialysis, central lines, TPN, and advanced wound care. This is the
ideal setting for nurses who excel at staying focused on the
present and prioritizing patient needs in a fast-moving
environment. We are looking for adaptable, team -oriented
individuals with a positive attitude , who thrive on action and

Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to,
experience, skills, education, performance, location and salary
range at the time of the offer. Responsibilities Provide direct
nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures
and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implement and monitor
patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient
condition as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all
disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out
physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient's
discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider
obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer
date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing
obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education:
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required
professional licensure at time of hire. Additional Preferences No
