Job Description:

Genie Healthcare is looking for a LOCUMS Provider to start ASAP and help for at least 3 weeks/1 month in Suffolk, VA

Job Details:

Schedule (Shifts and Hours): 7:00am-3:30pm
Setting: Hospital
EMR: EPIC
Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: Approximately 150/year
Will Supervise CRNAs (ratio 1:4)
Number of Anesthesiologists in Practice: 10
Will not have to prepare the anesthesia cart
Patient Age Demographic: Adult
Number of Operating Rooms: 13
Required Procedures/Responsibilities:
- General Surgical Cases: ADULT
- Minor Nerve Blocks
- IV Regional anesthesia, Regional Anesthesia and Spinal Anesthesia
- Plexus anesthesia
- Complex Vascular Cases (Except Open Heart)
- Complex Orthopedic Cases
- Local Infiltration
- Ventilation Management
- Insertion of Central Line & Arterial line
- Evaluation and Management of Acute Volume / BP Issues
  Qualifications:
  - Board Certified or Eligible - required (ACGME or AOA
  - Active VA license or IMLC in hand - required
  - ACLS and PALS - required
  - Flu shot - required
  - COVID Vaccine - highly preferred
  - Must be available full time for at least 3 weeks/1 month assignment - required
