Hematology/Oncology Opening in North Carolina Located in Ahoskie, NC.Full time, permanent position.-Hospital is seeking an experienced, fellowship-trained, BE/BC Hematology Oncologist to join a regional Cancer Care Hematology Oncology team with an interest in growing a general oncology practice in Ahoskie, North Carolina. Highlights include: -Hospital privileges at ECU Health Roanoke Chowan in Ahoskie, NC.-Monday to Friday in outpatient setting.-Established team of experienced nurses and navigators.-Support with advanced practice provider.-Shared regional call.-Outpatient clinical responsibilities focused on the following.-Developing treatment plans for new diagnosis in hematology oncology patients.-Chemotherapy oversight.-Supervising advance practice provider on follow up patients.-Leading tumor board.-Serve as an active member of the Cancer of Committee to provide better patient outcomes.-Affiliation with established academic tertiary program in Greenville NC with ECU Health Cancer Care and other regional oncologists. -Access to medical school-based faculty and specialists including radiation oncologists, surgical oncologists, disease site specific oncology teams and neuro specialists.-Built in referral network.-System-wide integrated EMREPIC.-Flexibility of living on the Chowan River, Albemarle sound or Tidewater, VA area as well as lose proximity to NC and VA beaches.
