Who we're looking for:
We're looking for the perfect LPN/LVN candidates to help our nation's heroes at various Tricare Clinics in Suffolk, Virginia. Candidates can choose between multiple schedules - PRN, Part-Time, and Full-Time positions are needed for this clinic. Candidates, if chosen, will work in outpatient clinics for military and their families. The position shift details and extensive benefits are as follows:

    Check patients into the clinic and triage using clinic guidelines.
    
    
  • 
    Inform the nurse or physician of the patient's condition and potential problems.
    
    
  • 
    Obtain and document patient and pertinent family history.
    
    
  • 
    Perform a full range of diagnostic support duties which include taking vital signs, collecting specimens, obtaining, recording and tracking results of diagnostic tools.
    
    
    Qualifications are as follows:
    
    • 
      
    • 
      Possess a minimum of 1 year of primary care, urgent care, or ambulatory outpatient clinic experience without the last 2 years
      
      
    • 
      Current Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association
      
      
      Education Requirements:
      
      • 
        
      • 
        Be a graduate of an accredited LPN program OR have completed an equivalent military training program
        
        
      • 
        Possess a current unrestricted license to practice as an LPN/LVN in any US jurisdiction
