Is this you?Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Junior Business Analyst with a focus on IT Management to support our Naval client in Suffolk, VA. As a member of the team, you will work with the client to develop, review and update IT service management governance documents, coordinate collaborations with the service provider and support the monitoring and reporting of compliance with service and performance requirements. You will support the processes of conducting strategic and tactical planning to inform and provide focus for all efforts and alignment with the DoD and Navy policies and enterprise strategies. Duties and Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze client capability and functional requirements.
• Create verbal and written communication products for clients to communicate requirements, prioritizations, recommendations and metrics.
• Translate requirements into actionable work items and communicate them with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Requirements management process standardization.
• Conduct gap analysis of requirements to ensure operational reporting requirements are meet.
• Make recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Ensure operations support requirements are fit for purpose and are in alignment with Naval Enterprise Architectures.
• Identifying, defining and reporting of metrics associated with ITIL processes and support continuous improvement of these processes.Required Skills
  • 1-2 years of experience as an IT business process/operations analyst.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience with IT management and business processes.
  • Ability to use new technology and streamline requirements efforts.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and IT.
  • Strong working knowledge of business management best practices.
  • Experience in reviewing and analyzing contract information and IT network related data and reports.Security Clearance Requirement
    • Candidates must possess an Active DoD Secret clearance.Job Location

        • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related fields is preferable.
        • Excellent oral and written communication skills to include presenting to clients and commands.
        • Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
