Job Description Job Description National Security & Door (NSD) is seeking to hire experienced sales estimators for full-time positions. This will include reviewing project plans and bid documents, assessing the project requirements, and providing estimates to customers. We are a Division 8, 10 & 28 company that provides our own labor as a turn-key solution. This position's focus will be on estimating aluminum storefront doors and frames, hollow metal & wood doors and frames, commercial hardware, and electronic security applications. Projects may also include Automatic Doors & Low Energy Operators. Non-Technical Core Responsibilities Demonstrate good communication and organizational skills. Offer consistency, reliability, commitment, and a positive workplace attitude. Willingness to cross-train in all NSD core business offerings Technical Core Responsibilities Proficiency with computer skills Experience with commercial door hardware and/or electronic security is preferable. Experience with the Microsoft Office suite. Good phone etiquette. Position Responsibilities Willingness to learn required software applications used in the day-to-day NSD business processes. Be familiar with architectural drawings, divisions, and plan layouts. Helpful in the project estimation aspect of the position. Work closely with the other internal departments within NSD. Ensure accuracy and confirm completion of: Materials research Subcontractor review Submittals/Drawings/Code Compliance Progress billing milestones should be communicated to the billing department, along with any unique project design features or details. Participate in the formulation and execution of project details, planning, and scheduling. Communicate the project plan to other departments as it has been developed. Attend any required meetings . This position will require training and onboarding to be performed in our office, then may transition to a remote work position once completed. Benefits Paid personal leave. Compensation Salary Position: Starting salary based on experience, and with added commissions, can easily reach between $80K to over $100k yearly Commission-based rewards based on Gross Sales Volume.
