Position Type: Full-Time Salary Range: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
(based on experience)? OUR CLIENT On behalf of our client, this
role offers an opportunity to join a growing team in the Richmond
area, supporting the maintenance and operation of alternative fuels
infrastructure and equipment. The position focuses on field-based
technical work at multiple service locations, ensuring safe,
reliable operation of critical fueling systems.? THE IDEAL
CANDIDATE Required qualifications: High School Diploma or
equivalent Minimum 2 years of related technical experience
(mechanical, electrical, HVAC, or diesel engine maintenance)? Valid
driver's license with clean driving record Basic mechanical or
electrical foundation knowledge Basic computer skills, including
use of service software and Microsoft Office? Ability to read
technical manuals and safety documentation Strong attention to
detail and commitment to safety? Preferred qualifications:
Experience with compressed natural gas (CNG) or renewable natural
gas (RNG) equipment? HVAC or electrical systems experience
Experience with field service automation or service management
software? Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment
troubleshooting? Commercial driver's license or willingness to
obtain Physical requirements: Frequently lift and move up to 25
lbs; regularly handle up to 50 lbs; occasionally move 75 lbs with
mechanical or team assistance Work in moderate to high noise
environments? Regular climbing, standing, walking, and driving
between sites? Close and distance vision, color vision, and depth
perception required WHAT YOU'LL DO Equipment maintenance and
inspection: Perform scheduled inspections of fueling stations and
related equipment? Inspect, maintain, and adjust electrical systems
such as wiring, panels, motors, controls, switches, and gauges?
Inspect, maintain, and adjust mechanical systems such as
compressors, pumps, engines, heat exchangers, valves, and filters?
Complete preventive maintenance in line with manufacturer
specifications and internal procedures? Diagnostics and repair:
Diagnose faulty mechanical and electrical components and systems?
Repair or replace malfunctioning equipment to restore proper
operating conditions? Follow regulatory requirements and technical
manuals to ensure safe, compliant repairs Troubleshoot complex
system failures to minimize downtime? Documentation and compliance:
Update service orders and document all work in field service or
work order software? Maintain accurate records of maintenance
activities, parts used, and recommendations? Ensure equipment,
structures, and work practices align with manufacturer requirements
and company standards Keep fueling locations clean and orderly to
support safe operations? General responsibilities: Travel between
multiple sites in the region as assigned? Respond to service calls
and complete work within established timeframes Maintain company
vehicles, tools, and equipment in good condition Participate in
process improvements and suggest operational efficiencies? Support
neighboring service areas as business needs require? Availability:
Standard full-time schedule with flexibility for on-call coverage
outside normal business hours? Availability during off-duty periods
and potential overtime as required Willingness to travel to
