Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Join a dynamic educational environment in Newport News, VA, as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting students from preschool through 12th grade. This contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week across five days, working in 1 to 2 school locations. Responsibilities include providing speech and language therapy services that meet the individual needs of students, some of whom may be in communication support classrooms, behavior support classrooms, or multiple disabilities classrooms. You will play a critical role in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders to improve students academic and social outcomes. Qualifications Required: - Must hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology or be entering your Clinical Fellowship (CF) year. - Experience or willingness to work within diverse educational settings is highly valued. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff.
