Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1 years
Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required.

considered. This full-time opportunity is ideal for an educator
specialized in serving students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
within a K-12 setting in the Franklin area of Tennessee. The
position begins in January 2026 and runs through May 2026,
supporting a dynamic school district committed to inclusive and
effective education. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct
instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
across K-12 grade levels. Collaborate with classroom teachers,
families, and specialists to implement individualized education
plans (IEPs). Utilize knowledge of communication methods and
assistive technologies tailored to students needs. Monitor and
document student progress, adapting teaching strategies
accordingly. Participate in professional development and team
meetings to enhance instructional effectiveness. Qualifications:
Valid Tennessee teaching license with Deaf and Hard of Hearing
(DHH) endorsement. Experience working with DHH students in an
educational setting preferred. Strong communication and
interpersonal skills to effectively engage students, families, and
staff. Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment
that supports diverse learners. Ability to manage a caseload while
coordinating services across multiple schools (to be determined).
Location and Schedule: On-site position in the Franklin area,
Tennessee. Full-time hours from January through May 2026. Benefits:
