Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
is needed to provide specialized support across a variety of needs
from PreK-12 in Chesapeake, VA, and surrounding areas including
Norfolk, Hampton, Virginia Beach, and Suffolk. This contract
position spans the full school year, offering an opportunity to
impact the educational experience of students within a dynamic
school setting. Responsibilities will include assessment,
diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication
disorders among students. Candidates must have experience working
in schools and be comfortable managing a caseload throughout the
academic year. Collaboration with educators, parents, and other
professionals will be essential to support student progress and
integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment. Ideal
candidates will have the following qualifications: Valid licensure
or certification as an SLP or SLPA with proven school-based
experience Ability to design and implement individualized treatment
plans for PreK-12 students Strong communication and organizational
skills Prior experience working in schools is required; new
graduates are not eligible for this role Flexibility to serve
students with a range of developmental and speech-language needs

continuity and stability of care throughout the school year. It
