A contract opportunity is available for a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services within K-12 virtual school settings. This assignment supports students in the Virginia Beach area and requires Spanish language proficiency. The role is part-time and operates on an as-needed basis, primarily focusing on conducting two to three evaluations weekly. Responsibilities: - Provide telespeech and teletherapy evaluations and interventions to students across K-12 grade levels. - Conduct assessments in Spanish to support bilingual students. - Collaborate virtually with educational staff and families to promote effective communication strategies. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state licensure requirements. - Adapt therapy techniques to suit virtual delivery platforms. Qualifications: - Active Virginia SLP licensure is required. - Fluency in Spanish is essential. - Experience working with school-aged populations is preferred. - Strong communication and organizational skills for independent virtual work. - Ability to conduct assessments and therapy sessions remotely using telehealth technologies.
