Job Description Job Description Our team is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician in the Richmond, VA and surrounding areas for Immediate hire . NO On-Calls & NO Weekends! Apartment Maintenance Technician ? Qualifications: Previous experience in residential maintenance - apartments, hotels, or private homes Must have personal hand tools and drill Must have reliable means of transportation Ability to handle physical workload Deadline and detail-oriented HVAC/EPA Certification is a PLUS! Strong experience in the following tasks: Plumbing - sink/shower/toilet repair, replacing fixtures, unclogging drains (snaking when applicable) Electrical - replacing fixtures and switches, knowledge, or proper safety protocol, rewiring when applicable Carpentry - patching holes, replacing doors/locks, hanging cabinetry, light touch- up painting Appliances - help with installation of W&D, stoves (when applicable), installing garbage disposals, small repairs Apartment Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: Regularly inspect all apartment units, buildings, and common areas Successfully complete turnovers & work orders in between resident occupancy Diagnose and solve maintenance issues in apartment homes, building exteriors and common areas ranging from plumbing, electrical, general carpentry, HVAC, and appliances Perform routine preventative maintenance Call or text to apply!
