Job Duties • Intake o Meet with assigned complainants and
respondents to discuss and provide information regarding applicable
university processes, available resources, interim measures,
reporting, and resolution options. • Investigations o Conduct
prompt, equitable, and impartial investigations into complaints,
including identifying and interviewing involved parties and
witnesses, gathering and assessing information relevant to the
investigation, and applying relevant policies and procedures to
determine the most appropriate course of action. o Ensure timely
resolutions of assigned cases. • Training, Education, and Outreach
o Assist with the development of training and outreach programs. o
Provide training to students, faculty, and staff on issues related
to discrimination, harassment, sexual misconduct, and ADA. o Serve
as a point of contact by providing subject-matter expertise on
requirements of and compliance with Title VI, Title VII, Title IX,
ADA, ADEA, VAWA, Campus SaVE, NSU polices, and related federal and
state laws. • Case Management o Maintain detailed records of
reports and assigned cases utilizing a case management system. •
Additional Duties o Facilitate interactive process for employees
seeking ADA and religious accommodations. o Facilitate interactive
processes for students seeking religious and pregnancy-based
accommodations. o Perform additional duties as assigned. Minimum
Qualifications • Ability to conduct prompt and thorough
investigations under relevant campus policies and serve as an
independent, neutral fact-finder. • Ability to maintain
confidentiality, problem-solve, exercise independent judgment, and
work with a diverse community. • Strong effective interpersonal
skills, including the ability to listen with intentionality and
demonstrate sensitivity to individuals in a neutral and objective
manner. • Ability to establish and maintain professional,
productive working relationships with campus partners. • Excellent
organization and detail-oriented skills. • Strong writing and
editing skills. • Ability to manage multiple, complex matters with
competing priorities. • Demonstration of a commitment of a
sensitivity to the removal of barriers to equity and success to
promote an inclusive campus environment. Additional Considerations
• Juris Doctor or other terminal degree. • Experience with Title IX
or other administrative investigations. • Knowledge and
understanding of university governance and operations. •
Demonstrated experience with developing outreach and training
programs. • Ability to work with ADA compliance, including
