This role will interact across multiple departments and vendors to provide day to day support for plan administrative services for both defined benefit and defined contribution duties. Must have the ability to work independently and manage workflow deadlines. Core ResponsibilitiesPerform and review complex pension benefit calculations.Research pension plan documents and administrative procedures to perform and validate pension calculations to comply with the plans and regulatory requirements.Provide high quality customer service for participants and human resources on retirement inquiries.Provide effective resolution to inquiries and escalated concerns in a timely fashion.Work with external auditors to conduct pension and 401(k) audits.Test payroll and retirement systems for plan changes.Manage internal and external data for year-end testing.Prepare weekly funding requests and reporting for 401(k) plans.Support the retirement integration process of acquired companies.Assist with retirement communication programs.Assist with special retirement plan projects.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
